LEAVING THE CLASSROOM
The teacher will dismiss you when it is time for your next
class. We will ask you to get your work together and put it in your
folder. The teacher will pick up your pencil. Do not attempt
to conceal or take the pencil. Once every student has put their work
away, you will form a line at the door and under the direction of the
teacher and you will walk to your next class in an orderly manner. POINTS The
school has developed a point system to provide guidance for rewarding
students that cooperate and follow our rules. Failure to complete
any assignment or failure to participate in any activity will result in
the loss of all points during the day. The students begins each
class session with four (4) points, one point each for being prompt to
class, staying on task, complying with directions, and appropriate class
behavior. You may be fined for inappropriate behavior between class
periods and violations of the Student Code of Conduct or school
rules. Accumulations of specific totals of points will result in the
possible early release from Roosevelt Alternative School, free time on the
computer, and/or snacks. By following the rules and cooperating, you
should have no problem in earning the necessary points that will earn the
right to return to your home campus in minimum time. The point
system is addressed in the school behavior management plan. |
