It is indeed a pleasure to invite you to our website. Roosevelt Alternative School has come a long way in the last four years, and as a school, we are proud of our accomplishments. During the summer staff members completed very special training sessions. Sessions that are designed to provide all of our students the very possible chance of achieving success, academic and personal. Some of our AEP staff traveled to Father Flanagan's Boys Town in Omaha Nebraska to complete training in teaching social skills to youth.
We have added a new shower/dressing room, expanded our library, added a computer lab to the TPAP wing and improved our computer lab in the AEP wing. We can also boast of a new cafeteria and offices. Of course none of this could have been accomplished with the support of the School Board, our Central Office Administration, and the dedication of the Roosevelt Alternative School staff.
I urge each and every one of you to come and visit our facility or e-mail us if you have any questions. We not only want to show our school off, but also convince you that even though your children are in good hands, we need you to help our young men and women. I look forward to communicating with each of you one day.
