I know you have seen some really cool fonts and want to know how to make them work in PSP. It is really easy.
You can store them all on your computer but this is not recommended because if you get too many stored on your computer it can crash and even if it doesn't crash PSP will be slow to load them all. You can either get a font manager to organize and store all your fonts, or you can leave them in a folder on your desk top and open and use them as you need them. To use the fonts in a folder is very simple.
Make a new folder call it fonts
- Find a Font you would like to download
- Press the Download button for the font.
- When the window pops up asking you to open or save the font.
- Press Save.
Browse on your computer to where you have placed your font folder
- Press Save
- Another window will pop up with Open Open Folder
- Choose Open
- The font is now saved on your computer
Now to use the font
Go find the font folder on your computer
Open the font folder and find the font you just downloaded.
Most fonts come zipped. So you will need to unzip it. Also most computers have a built in extractor so all you have to do is unzip the font.
Located the zipped font you saved to your computer
- Right click on the zipped folder
- choose Extract All
- A window will pop up prompting you to choose Next.
Choose Next until your extracting program tells you Finished.
Now that the folder is extracted. You can now use the fonts. Open your fonts folder and find the font you want to use and open it. After you open the fonts you want to use minimize them. DON'T Close them. When you open up PSP the fonts that are open and minimized will now appear in your fonts window ready for you to use.
