Just released from Mercury Nashville is Shanias next single
"It Only Hurts While I am Breathing"
NO offical date has been set for its release, keep posted

In the latest UK magazine called Maverick (The New Voice of Country Music), Issue 19, Feb 2004, (Reba on front cover), there's a one page article on Shania and her thoughts on Alison Krauss & Union Station.
Here is a brief excerpt: "Shania reached out to Alison Krauss because she has long been a fan of the bluegrass star's music. In turn, Alison has long been a fan of Shania's husband, legendary rock/pop/country Mutt Lange.  "I wanted to go back to something stripped-down and rootsy," Shania explains. "I've been doing big concerts for quite a long time, and I
love it, but I just want that contrast."
To get it, she turned to Union Station. "Wanting to break the music down, there just didn't seem to be any other way," she adds. "They were the ones. There is no, even, second choice." It is rumoured that there will be a stripped-down acoustic segment during Shania's UK concert tour this month."

On Europe's list of the 100 most played songs on the radio in 2003, Shania Twain has 3 songs: 19) Ka-Ching, 62) I'm Gonna Getcha Good!, 69) Forever And For Always

Canadian singing star Shania Twain was in Wanaka this week seeking advice on high country farming.
It is reported that Twain has bought Motatapu Station in the area but is awaiting consent from the Overseas Investment Commission. Arthur Scaife is the father of Sally Mackay, the current co-owner of the station, and a specialist in farming the area having done it for most of his life. Mr Scaife says his daughter brought Shania Twain over for a quick visit. However, he says he spoke mostly with Twain's husband.

According to an article posted on Countrystars.com Shania Twain seems to like her tour life! "Shania doesn't tour every year, but when she does, she feels at home on the road.  "To be honest with you your concert is almost your home base," she explains. "You get comfortable after a while. Once your show is up and rolling it's your comfort zone. It's the place I think that you eventually become more relaxed. Because the environment is pretty much the same every night. Your show is your show every night. And there's definitely a sense of stability there. That's the one thing that never changes."

In the UK Shania's new single is a double a-side of "When You Kiss Me" and "Up!". There are 3 versions of the CD the other is a special DVD Single that includes the "When You Kiss Me" video and the Extended Metro Remix of "When You Kiss Me" But it seems the single has not had much air play on radio in some parts of the UK and Digital radio 3C is the best place to hear the songs.

If you're a guy that felt a little weird when you caught yourself singing along with Shania Twain's infectious, 'Man I Feel Like A Woman,' then you know the premise of the new Chevy Colorado Crew Cab pickup truck ads. The clip shows a truck full of macho guys, appearing a little weirded out, riding along while Twain's tune plays on the radio, and one of the guys gleefully sings along with the chorus of 'Man I Feel Like a Woman!.
