| Welcome to our webpage. We wanted to give friends and family a way to keep track of our travels throughout the UK and Europe during our 3 yr assignment in England. Last year, we added a golden retriever to our family. We named him CJ and he is a joy! | Valentine's Day 07 ~ We spent the weekend following Valentine's Day in Paris which was an amazing get-away. We took the Eurostar down (PK got us first class tickets and we were treated to a gourmet dinner... they offered champagne & heart shaped chocolates the whole way to Paris!) Once in Paris we visited the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris Opera, Sacre Coeur at sunset, Versailles to include Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon, the Paris Crypt and the Louvre. We couldn't have planned a better Valentine's gift to each other! |

| This sumer we took an excursion to the "continent" (mainland Europe) for our vacation. We spent a good portion of the time in the Bavarian Alps, however, we visited, Wiesbaden & Garmisch, Germany, Berchtesgaden (Hitler's Eagles Nest retreat), Neuschwanstein Castle, Salzburg & Vienna, Austria, drove through/camped in the Swiss Alps, visited Mont-St-Michel and toured the D-Day beaches in Normandy, France. We drove everywhere and put quite a few miles on our little BMW in the process. There were many points during our trp that we were amazed at the beauty of God's creation! |

| Battle Proms at Burleigh ~ held every year at the Burghley House, the Battle Proms incorporate live cannon fire, battle reenactments & fireworks, all set to classical music! The 1812 Overture is pretty spectacular! |
