| Alghero Italy | ||||||||||
| For Presidents' Day Weekend we hopped on a Ryan Air flight and went down to Alghero, Italy on the island of Sardinia with friends, Chad and Bethany Chaffee. Chad was one of PK's groomsmen at our wedding and they are stationed in the UK as well. It has been fun spending time with them! Alghero's coastline was beautiful and the "old town" part of Alghero was fun with little jewelry shops and gelato cafes. | ||||||||||

| We went to Neptune's Grotto but it was closed due to the choppy sea. This picture is near the entrance to the stairs that go down to the Grotto. | I'm climbing the rocks that surround the Grotto area... not a tough climb but I thought I was being adventurous... for once, Paul followed behind me! | |||||||||

Yeah, that's me... climbing again! We stopped along the coastline and saw some tower ruins sitting alone right above the water, so we hiked down to it. We discovered that there was NO door to look inside, so all of a sudden Paul started climbing the side! He made it about 15 feet up to the window and looked inside. Of course, there wasn't much to see, but he DID inspire me to try! I didn't make it all the way up to see inside, but touched the window and then headed back down. He snapped a pic of me on the way down. | |||||||||
