The Fifth Pistran Civil War Commemorative Stamp
Thousands upon thousands of brave Pistrans died horribly painful, yet vastly meaningful, deaths during our last (knock on wood!) Civil War.  Those who did not die  may now bask in the freedom we now enjoy, and to also purchase this collectable stamp from their local Post Office.  The late, great General Wort once said, "War is a hideous bitch-thing."  Now Pistrans can harness that power,in stamp form.
Special Flag Series Stamps
A flag is a symbol.  That we can all agree on.  A symbol, by it's very definition, symbolize things ... like people themselves.  Still, no flag ever won a war.  Neither did any elderly shut-in who sewn flags in their pajamas, or the fat merchants who sold them at significant mark-up, or did any cowardly soldier, who marched into battle carrying a flag instead of a gun or sword.  No, a flag may be a symbol of the people, but we must always remember that it is still symbollic of something...   Something indeed...
Pistrix's current beloved flag. The flag of the dual emperors, Pangei and Kiskusk.  The cyan stripe represents Right-Handers, and the yellow stripe Left-Handers. The Flag of the Right-Handed army led by the fanatic General Tyronn which opposed the Left-handed regime in the Fourth Pistran Civil War.  Strangely enough the flag design is obviously left dominant.
The short-lived flag of the De Conti family, which usurped and banished the Caglio dynasty, meeting it's own defeat at the end of the Third Pistran Civil War just four years later.
Flag of Orin Caglio, first King of Pistrix.  Later it became the flag of the pro-Caglio Lefty revolutionaries until the end of the Fourth Pistran Civil War.
The Gengu Flag of the Royal Guard of Princess Jura and the Jura Lineage.  Although not a poltically significant flag, it has been embraced by modern culture as a symbol for mysterious, honorable, and elite warriors.  Used from historical epic films to cheap action movies and video games.
The Flag of Bol Bascius, the first flag of Pistrix.  Meant to represent strong defiance against raiding hordes of barbarians, where it lacks in concept it makes up in implied mystery and intrigue.
The flag of the Allegro Clan, victors of the First Pistran Civil War. Allegro's bitter rival, the flag of the Dungi Clan, was defeated in the First Pistran Civil War.  Bloodshed was inevitable due to the extreme differences of the two clans.
