| Preamble On this day, August the second, in the year of our Lord, two thousand, we, the people of the Republic of Pistrix, hereby unto the world,declare our soverignty. Henceforth, and for all time, this place shall be called Pistrix, the land of the heroic, and the origins of justice. We, the fellowship of Pistran citizenry known as the Supreme High Assembley pf Officials, have here unto established this Constitution to our glorious union. May the Pillars of Heaven tremble in anticipation of our noble cause of freedom! |

| Article I The Dominion of the Republic of Pistrix shall be administered by the holder of the Office of Chancellor. Section 1 The Chancellor of the Republic of Pistrix shall be nominated by the Supreme Council of Ministers, and voted in by the citizens of Pistrix. a Minimum of two nominees are offered on the ballot when nominated by at least one quarter of the Supreme Council of Ministers. Elections are held annually, or when a vote of No Confidence is called for by at least one half plus one of the Supreme Council. An incumbant Chancellor is always placed on the ballot automatically, unless the nomination is refused. Section 2 The Chancellor of Pistrix sets foreign policy, as well as control of the executive offices of governement. The Chancellor has the right to appoint any office that is deemed necessary for the operation of the government. The Chancellor has the right to veto any law or action passed by the Supreme Council of Ministers that does not have a three quarters majority in passing. Section 3 Should the Chancellor be of ill health, removed from office, or otherwise unable to perform the duties of the office, Senior Minister will perform such duties until the office is once again occupied. |

| Article II The Supreme Council of Ministers (SCM) is the primary legislative and judicial house of the governing body of the Republic of Pistrix. Its size is based on the population of the nation. Section 1 The Supreme Council of Ministers is Appointed into office by either the Chancellor, or a current member of the Supreme Council of Ministers. A minister can be removed by a vote of removal, which can be called for by any two council members, and must be voted out by a one half plus one majority. The Chancellor can overide this vote, unless the majority is greater than three quarters. Section 2 The Supreme Council creates laws and referendums by offering a bill to the Elder Minister. If the Elder Minister approves the bill to be elidgible for a house vote, it will be introduced, and given a span of seven days for debate and introspection. upon the seventh day, it shall be voted upon by all members of the SCM who wish to vote on the matter. If the vote has an approval of one half plus one, it will go to the Chancellor for ratification. If the bill has an approval vote of three quarters or more, it is ratified directly, without the approval of the Chancellor. Once a bill is sent to the Chancellor for ratification, the Chancellor has three days to approve or veto it until it is ratified automatically. Once a bill is ratified, it becomes law, and the Chancellor is obligated to enforce it. Section 3 The Elder Minister is the member of the Supreme Council of Ministers who has been in office continuously for the longest span of time. The Elder Minister requires a three quarters majority to be impeached on a vote of removal. Section 4 The Chancellor cannot serve as a member of the Supreme Council of Ministers while in office. If the Chancellor was a member of the Council prior to his or her entering office, he or she can return to the council unless there is a Censure vote in the Council, with a three quarters majority. |

| Article III Any amendments or additions to this Constitution of the Republic of Pistrix must be ratified by a three quarters vote from the Supreme Council of Ministers. The Chancellor has no veto on a ratification. Once approved by the SCM, the amendment becomes law. |
