Trevor

This all-star pitcher from Oswego only has three years of experience in the Picks, but still is aiming to put a Rock-Bottom on his challengers. Hopefully he won't hurt himself again because his team really needs him on the baseball field.

Trevor is no stranger to injuries. This 12-year-old boy has already surpassed his lifetime share of concussions and bodily impacts with fixed objects. He literally knocked himself senseless at a friend's house just weeks before joining the Sunday Football Picks on Jan. 15, 2005. Also in recent memory, Trevor nearly shot himself in the eye with a laser, dangerously flexed his spine like a pretzel while jumping and falling on his dad's bed, broke his foot while kicking a ball in the backyard, and crashed into a neighbor's parked car.

Trevor is well known for being freakishly tall -- riding the biggest coasters at Six Flags Great America at something like age 2. He entered the Picks as the fifth-tallest member, but he's expected to become the tallest once he reaches 6-foot-2 in a few months. Don't challenge this Tae Kwon Do black belt or he might mess you up.

One of Trevor's goals is to out-throw his Uncle Blaine on the football field. In October 2006, Trevor's 39-yard toss of a miniature football at Glenbard East High School was half the length of Blaine's 78-yard bomb, so he has some growing to do. The day he beats Blaine head-to-head is when Trevor gets treated to a new football of his choice at Sports Authority.

His best finish in the Picks was an impressive second-place showing in 2007 with a record of 146-82 (.640). That effort earned him the league's biggest improvement year-to-year at 22.5 games. He battled Alicia for the title until the bitter end.

When it comes to his true passions in life, Trevor really has a thing for skateboarding, the Chicago White Sox, Star Wars movies, Greek food, Harry Potter, Oberweis Dairy, Ultimate Fighting Championships, Linkin Park and other obnoxiously loud bands, trips to Lake Geneva, treats at Cold Stone, the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, snowboarding, Sheen from Jimmy Neutron, skateboarding logo shirts, Madden 2005, wearing caps backwards, Tony Hawk's Underground, any fast roller coaster at any amusement park, nighttime hide and seek at Lake of the Ozarks, and performing crazy stunts that he really shouldn't. He laughs about the growling rubber shark in "Jaws 3."

In three seasons, Trevor has a record of 406-266 (.604).
