The 42-year-old Picks fanatic created the league at age 13, and is the last original member still participating. Blaine has a crazy dream of the Sunday Football Picks reaching its 100th year, with the league's management and story-writing being handed down generation to generation. That will be tremendous!

Simply given his longevity, Blaine has many entries in the Picks record book. They include being the only person with multiple undefeated weeks (11-0 twice), having the best back-to-back seasons (270-125 in 1985-86), winning the most titles (14), being the youngest to win a title (age 14) and having the most weeks over .500 in a season (18). He owns five of the 10 best records of all-time, including his top-ranked mark of 150-65 in 1998.

On a personal note, Blaine really enjoys Portillo's cheese fries and chocolate cake, Michael Jordan highlights, Seattle's Space Needle, No Limit Texas Hold 'em, making human totem poles in the pool, hypermiling to stretch his tank of gas, Wilmington football openings (the best in all of sports), handling parent signatures, Universal Studios Hollywood, overtime playoff hockey, Nerf ping pong, Titanic, the Superman theme music (which gives him goose bumps), airplane rides, Wisconsin Dells Ducks, Wal-Mart bargains, playing video games by his own odd rules, Anna Kournikova, USA shirts, Glenbard East's fight song, boating, fudge, fireworks finales, Seinfeld, calculating the odds, The Mills malls, throwing footballs more than 70 yards, and blurting out "Hello to all cute girls and dogs!" He also has a ridiculous tendency to use take-home containers upside down, prefers to drink without a straw, and only orders pictured items on menus.

His useless knowledge includes knowing pi from memory to the 40th digit past the decimal point. It's 3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971. Nicki also learned this once she heard her dad reciting it, so now they're both showing off. But no one seems to care.
