Pound for pound, Little Bird proves to be strongest in Picks

Already possessing more victories per pound than anyone else in the Sunday Football Picks, the Little Bird flexed even more muscle in Week 8 by finishing second to none.  Nobody could beat Ali's 8-5 record, which was quite spectacular considering that the favored teams only won six games.

Ali was the lone person choosing the underdog Chiefs against the powerful Raiders, but Kansas City easily prevailed 20-10.  The Little Bird also flew high with the underdog Browns over the Jets, and the Broncos over the favored Patriots.

Weighing a mere 42 pounds, Ali is crushing her competition this year in victories per pound.  She has amassed 54 victories halfway through the season, which breaks down to 1.3 wins per pound.  Nicki is the only other person coming close to having as many victories as chunkies.  Her 65-pound frame has compiled 59 wins.

Although she is currently leading the Picks, skinny Girlie is averaging just 0.6 victories per pound, and defending Picks champ QT Pie comes in at 0.5 wins per pound (very generally speaking, of course).

Mark and Blaine, who have admittedly gotten a tad beefier than they should be, are both averaging about 0.3 victories per pound, which is dead last in this comparison.  Blaine complained that his ratio was negatively impacted this week because he averaged almost two taffy apples per victory.  He certainly dominates in that category, offering more proof that every Picks member has their own niche.

For example, QT is tops in the league in the fewest-losses-per-Pepsi category, averaging only one defeat for every 2-liter bottle of Pepsi she has consumed this season.  Mark thinks he beats that ratio with his impressive average of one loss per three hours of playing wrestling games on PlayStation.  However, Nicki believes she surpasses even that with her fabulous average of just one defeat for every five hours of watching Dick Van Dyke reruns.  But maybe D.J. blasts everyone out of the water with her unparalleled average of one loss per 15 hours of computer time.

Reading through all of these crazy comparisons and calculations, you can bet the Little Avril Bird is simply thinking, "Why you have to go and make things so complicated?"
