| Mark has the Bills, but can't buy victory over D.J.The underdog Buffalo Bills were victorious in Miami as only Mark predicted, but overtime wins by the Lions and Broncos sent D.J. charging ahead in Week 7. Her 9-4 record extended her first-place lead to two games over QT Pie. Mark appeared to be master of his domain when the Bills stung the Dolphins 23-10, but he was suddenly out of the contest when his Bears and Chiefs both allowed last-minute scores, and failed in the extra session. Four overtime games decided everyone's fate. Girlie won three of those games and finished first, while Ali lost three of them and placed last. The Little Bird dropped under .500 for the season, but don't count her out because her spirits are still flying high. Nickster was also unlucky with three overtime losses, but still managed to tie her dad with a 7-6 record. Blaine was the only person pinning his hopes on the struggling Vikings, who were called "lethargic" while getting blasted by the N.Y. Jets. Minnesota was supposed to come out fired up with momentum from last week's victory. Not! D.J.'s first-ever stint atop the leader board now grows to two weeks. Catch me if you can, she says. |
