Minot is in Southeastern Grays Harbor County, a few miles south of Elma. The coverage extends to most of the county as well as portions of Pacific, Mason and Lewis counties. The repeater is a GE MASTR-II continuous duty base station with a Phelps-Dodge 6-cavity bandpass duplexer and a dual-band 9-dB vertical antenna about 60 feet up the tower. There is a pair of phased 10.5 dB yagi antennas, giving a total gain of 13.5 dB,  for the link into the rest of the network.

The dual-band antenna is shared with the MINOT packet node on 145.630.
