After the stonking success of Rogue Squadron on the Nintendo 64 German developers Factor 5 have released the sequal - Rogue Squadron 2 : Rogue Leader. Rogue Leader follows basically the same formula as its father but with a few twists. The graphics have been improved tremendously and it looks as if your playing in the actual movie. For example when you fly low over the deathstar trench a la Skywalker and you can see every turret clearly. Space battles are a great touch if a little confusing as sometimes you have no idea where you are and where your next objective is. Unfortunatly there is no multiplayer but as we all know - Flying games do not make good multiplayers. So Rogue Leader is let down by a few things but overall it is a great game and one which you should heavily consider adding to your collection. 82% |
