The Delano History:

Originally known as the De La Nuit clan, Guillome Delano vowed never to be known by his sire's name following the Clan War, which cost the De La Nuit their entire original family.  Fearing their curse would follow his family into the afterlife, Guillome changed the name to Delano, and that is how the Clan has been known ever since.

Much has changed for the Delano since their move to New York. No long are they content to follow in the footsteps of the larger Clans; their attitude has become definitely more belligerent and risky.  Led by Drie, the entire Clan has made no hesitations on breaking with traditions wherever and whenever possible.  Their kills are more flamboyant, their lifestyle more aggressive - their entire demeanor threatens to shatter the Masquerade as they go about searching for their true role in their world.  In a word, the Delanos have gone from the sheep of Kindred society to the wolf.

Even their home reflects the in-your-face posturing of this Clan.  While other Clans prefer to find homes in Manhattan's opulent Uptown, or Murray Hill neighborhoods, the Delano settle for nothing less then the revamped meat-packing district.  The trendy neighborhood, and its hordes of yuppies, provide them with ample hunting grounds and hangouts.
