But it was true. Tully really did hear voices. Not spirits, or the Devil, but a lunatic vampiress who decided to have fun making a human crazy. It worked tenfold. Tully was turned, to further her torment, but once she became a vampire, she became lucid. A surprising turn of events. But what was not surprising was Tully's sire, who started to go crazy a month after Tully's embrace. Tully's blood had somehow became tainted, thin, and the effect of it was enough to make a vampire go insane.

Tully herself is completely lucid, and uses this taint to keep the Clans off her back. In battle, she'll frequently be seen cutting her own wrist and flinging her vitae at any open orafice on her opponent. Even though she was not of the Delano Clan, she took up with Etoile Delano once she got into New York. Etoile knew the streets, knew the people and the clans. She also knew who to stay away from. She ran with Etoile's band most of the time, seeing no need to branch off.
