Reflecting...
I share these truths -sayings-
quotes as remembered from childhood - teen and adult life: I don't know who said them
- or who to give credit to - but they have enriched my life! Many were taught at mother's
knee to teach the value of a penny saved is a penny made or a stitch in time saves nine as
examples remembered. Even today I pass them on to my children and grandchildren - and now
to you the public.

The best boss is the one who bosses the least.
Rob Peter to pay Paul (paying bills.)
I smell a rat! (something amiss)
Don't be 'pushy' (obnoxious.)
Every cloud has a silver lining.
Most folks are about as happy as they make up their
minds to be .
HASTE makes WASTE
Don't cut off your nose to spite your face .
Two men looked through the bars, one saw the mud - the other saw
the stars.
If you make a blister, sit on it!
Honest as the day is long.
It's just a drop in the bucket
Spend some, save some, give some.
To make a long story short
Make hay while the sun shines.

Birds of a feather flock together.
Take these pills as
often as you can get the cap off!
Been through too much for too long.
A slip of the tongue
Your never go so far but what your tail (tale)
follows you.
The pot
calling the kettle
black
Beauty is only skin deep.
No pain - no gain .
 A watched pot never boils.
The best things in life are free.
