Non-Discussion Clouds the Topic of Female Toe-Sucking
The phrase �toe-sucking�
packs quite a punch, and can gross
out several people at a time. Although
it has become more common place,
female toe-sucking is rarely brought
up in conversation.
Toe-sucking is defined as self-gratification of the toe area by placing the toe inside one�s mouth and salivating profusely. The big toes are typically preferred.
Sebastian Hazelford of Hazelford Scientific Soundboard admits �While most people are aware that 43% of the male population enjoys a pleasureful sucking of the toe, women do it at an astonishing rate of 71% but will rarely admit it openly�.
Alexis Burnstromsen reports that �women feel like they cannot discuss their toe-sucking habits based on traditional views of �being ladylike and proper�.� She goes on to say that potential health benefits include cleaner toes, better saliva production, as well as a more flexible back. Sophomore Haley Kompf believes that �while toe-sucking has some benefits and can be pleasurable, an addiction to it would be harmful.�
Other students indicated that perhaps a more open discussion of the matter among females would lessen the burden they share. �If we can discuss the desire we all have to stick our big toe right into our own mouth and slobber on it, together as a group that might do something somehow,� offered Kiesha Horseberry, �however just talking about issues with a large audience does not equal dealing with those issues.�
