New Family Weekend ActivitiesIn an effort to help increase student-involvement during Family Weekend, JBU has worked hard to prepare a series of studentactivities. Invite your family members to JBU during the weekend of February 23-24 for events like: FRIDAY Punch-Someone-Wearing-Green-Day. Call it �St. Patrick�s Day in February�! Get a group of friends together, and then slug all the ones that wear green! You won�t want to miss this most glorious and festive holiday! JBU�s First Annual �Mole-Hunt� (Sponsored by Student Development). Students are invited to help university officials hunt rodents on campus. From the moles living under the quad to the rats burrowing in Mayfield�s walls, this event promises fun for everyone. Bring a shovel! King of the Karaoke Night (Sponsored by SAC). Ever wanted to rule for an evening? Lose your inhibitions to the overwhelming sugar-rush of hot chocolate and marshmallows, then dedicate a song to that special someone, or just act goofy with friends. SATURDAY North Hall Dress-Up Day (Sponsored by Residence Life). Students are invited to dress up North Hall; bring paint, chalk, crayons, scissors, old clothes, your roommate�s clothes�whatever! This promises to be a blast. Family Photo-Scavenger Hunt (Sponsored by SAC). Fellowship with friends as you sneak into people�s homes, and steal their family photos. Photo albums, framed portraits on the wall, wallet-prints� the opportunities are endless. The group with the most family-photos will win a $45 gift-card to Wal-Mart. Marilyn Manson/Alice Cooper Concert (Sponsored by SAC). Two of the most famous shock-rockers will appear on campus as part of JBU�s �Worldly Awareness Week.� Admission is one stray cat. |
