- An old Polish Capital City from
1030's to 1500 century, full of history
and the home of Polish Kings and the late
Pontiff John
Paul II, known in Poland as Karol Wojtyla
who between 1948-51 was the vicar of various
parishes in Cracow as well as chaplain for
the university students until his Pontificate
in Vatican,
Italy on October 16, 1978.

LÓDZ

Festivals of Photography (founded in September
2005, Photo Festival Union - PFU)
originated by the Foundation of Visual Education
in Poland and Lodz also holds Biennial

| WROCLAW
- For a greater part of the city's
history,
German was the dominant language, however
for several generations the city was home
to the Korn publishing house, which printed
many books in Polish (250 titles between 1732
and 1790). Today it is a modern cultural metropolis
holding many events and festivals through
