Traveling to the
region of Pomerania,
North of Poland is not difficult, if you are
already in Europe one can drive in the direction
of Gdansk, and Jantar is just 30 min away
by car, 40 minutes by coach or bus. |
|
|
If
you traveling by plane, you probably arrive
at Gdansk airport from where taxi's and buses
are available to take you further. There is
a car rentals terminals at the airport which
give enough information to guide you where
ever you want to go in Pomeranian region. |
|
|
|
If you are traveling
by car take the picturesque road by ferry,
which is much quicker and scenic operating
every 15 minutes during summer season. |
|
|
|
When passing various
villages you can see many signs - similar
words as the one in the picture - Pokoje -
which means, there are rooms for rent. |
|
|
|
Once you settle
down and refresh your self, have walk around
so you can find your way around with ease
on the next day. In this picture are steps
totally made by hand from local woods by one
of the cafe owners leading to the sea side.
As the hills are pretty steep the steps is
just another way through the woods. |
|
|
|
Early in the morning
get fresh fish - straight from the sea, one
can have everyday for breakfast, lunch or
dinner, by buying it straight from the fishermen
or already prepared from the local beach restaurants
and bars by the sea front. |
|
|
|
When you want to
have a break from the seaside visit the local
ostrich farm, which sells many natural herbal
teas and ostrich eggs or have wonder around
inhaling fresh air and admiring the unspoiled
country sides on foot or by bike. Below see

Jantar
and other villages around the Baltic coast
line is perfect summer holiday destination
with plenty to do for everyone. Rooms to let
are located a short walk (5 minutes) through
pine forest leading to long and sandy beaches
within families where most Polish people today
speak other languages; German, French and
English. |

Do ENJOY your holiday in POLAND! |
