Kicking Out The Jams
It was the spring of 1969 just after the release of
Kicking Out The Jams and lead singer Rob Tyner
took a bit of a break. Once again it was up to me to
come in and do a couple of gigs with them. When Tyner
was younger he really dug my afro-centric-do and began
to sport one of his own.
Paul Keeping the Peace
After September 11, 2001, hero jobs are hip. Working
for the Fire and Police Departments are positions that
demand appreciation. So here is me during my stint as
a cop.

the Firefighter
How could you not want to be part of the bravest occupations?
This is a quick snapshot of me doing what we firefighters
are all about...getting the job done.
Paul the Stanley Cup Winner
This is a shot of me
from 1942 when me and the Toronto Maple Leafs won the
Stanley Cup. Our backs
were against the wall, but we went there to win, we
gave it a 110%, and at the end of the day, well, the
proof is in the pudding.

Playing for Led Zeppelin
As you can see from the header image I played for a
time with Led Zeppelin during the mid-seventies. John
Bonham was taking a bit of a break and the boys called
me up and asked if I wouldn't mind learning to play
drums and coming with them on tour. It was a great time
for me for musical exploration and creation. Good times,
good blokes.
Paul
the Daredevil
Around the time of Evel Knievel's Snake River Canyon
jump I helped him prepare by taking on any publicity
shoots - motorcycle jumps and tricks. Not bad for someone
who up til then had only ever been a passenger on motorcycles.

The Archive exists as a reservoir
for older writings I find. They tend to be introduction pages
to older sections that don't exist anymorein other words,
stuff that was hogging space. I've found while looking over
the articles that there's not control here, it was written
completely off the cuff and apparently free of the rewriter's
eraser. Blitheringly free. Still there is some salvageable
information here and so I have given it a section of its own.
I have no long term plan for this
section. I have a feeling it will eventually evolve into something
different which, at the moment, is completely beyond me (like
grammer and math). I have been giving it a lot of attention
of late, treating it like a dying rose. I'm hoping it will
bloom and expand into a powerful center piece for the flower
pot i my lumber room.
Enjoy,
Paul
