small chapbook from the time on the graphic design

Usually
my splash pages are based on something I’ve
seen or come across. This month was different, it
was strictly on-the-spot creation (that and the
fact I that wanted to use a “wooly bugger”
fly tie) |

splash idea came to me while I was working on an
image for a new website and it just struck me as
a perfect Mammoth Hall Common image |

The idea for this splash came from Einstein’s
theories in relativity. More specifically how everything
becomes the center of the universe (or coordinates
0,0) |

This
one’s got a bit of a story. There’s a
great fish and chip shop we go to where the front
counter has all these drawings from kids to the
“Fish and Chip Man.” Specifically, there
were two pictures that to my eyes both looked like
trees. When I looked closer I saw that I was incorrect
as they were named -- one was a tree, one was Hayley.
All those years of art school have made me blind
to the obvious. |
