Bush
to entertain the troops in Baghdad this Christmas
Washington D.C. - Following in the footsteps of such legendary performers
as Bob Hope & Weird Al Yankovic, George Bush has announced he'll
be teaming up with Andrew Lloyd Webber in a reworking of Alice in Wonderland.
Dressed in a full Mad Hatter Costume the president talked to press in
front of some very nervous onlookers: "You know ever since I was
a kid I've loved that movie and always kinda identified with the goofy
guy at the head of the table, I've been working with Andrew to create
this really wacky spaced out character, he says I'm a natural!".
After a brief period of questioning he went on to say: "Our troops
are used to me dressing up in costumes, one month I'm a sailor the next
a soldier, I see this as a natural progression, can't wait to see the
look on the faces of the folks when we perform this in Tikrit''.
Webber: "Dubya
fits this role like a glove, the only glitch we had was finding a prop
teapot that wouldn't upstage him, If it's a success I've already had
interest from Michael Brown, he said he'd be more than happy to carry
the role on Broadway but we have to see what the response is after our
ten venues in Iraq".
"teapot"
The White house press spokesman was not prepared to comment, as the head
of gate security divulged: "Boy since he saw George in that hat he's
been drinking heavily, I've never seen the guy like this, he's falling
apart".
