Hi, everybody...

I like Stately Wayne Manor-Eater Lad...but please, let's not be so formal. SWME-Lad is fine with me!

Sorry I've been incommunicado lately...I've been repairing the Blight damage to the food replicators. I'm pleased to report they're all online again and I'm taking orders!

So what'll it be?

oh yeah...when will I get my barrette?

LardLad ~ I KNOW Prot-D is Dylan! I was seeing the little boy and the puppy hiding under the bed together, peeking out as Lumber Fox stalks by.
Geez!

LardLad's power ~ protective dad and poop humorist, extraordinaire!

Jo ~ what do you mean, 'Of course!' Is that a 'woman' joke? (I hope. ) It's okay because you've already apologized!

Shady -- Thanks, I lost him for a while. I hope Pro-D is okay. Piddlin' is probably trying to hide underneath him. I'll go get them!

As for a superpower -- almost an uncanny memory for trivia? And I am one heckuva baker! Watch out Tenz!
Also loyal to a fault. Does that count?

Hey folks.
I think I'm statring to demonstrate my super ability to dissapear for days on end, at least since my vacation week ended... Will try to pop in during the weekends, and when ever I can with a few pointless comments. If the barettes and walking rings come in while I'm out, please hold mine at will call.
Keep the fires burning.

In addition to those listed by Shady, I also want to add the super-power Mark Wahlberg had in "Boogie Nights" and that of super-flirting (also possessed by Shady)!

The ability to boost your own sense of self-esteem while wearing a plastic appendage? How will that defeat Mordru?

That sounds suspiciously like an auxilliary device, LardLad. Those are not allowed as a power source in the Legion!
Our motto is, "If you can't do it on your own, you can't do it."

Thanks, Bell. He tried to slip one past because he knows I haven't seen that movie!

Shame on you, LL!

Yes Mark W. himself has admitted the powers he displayed in "Boogie NIghts" were artificially enhanced. No go, Lardlad. However, the super-flirting does qualify !

I still think Lardlad sounds like a shapeshifter. Has your body shape altered over the years?

AND his son Pro-D inherited shapeshifting abilities, specifically the power to grow every few weeks. Hhmmmmmm. It's settled. They're Durlans.

Hi all.

Lev told me to come on in. I answered a question he had over in the Timber Wolf thread. He said he thought that there was one more opening left.

I'll be hanging around these boards again. I toook some time off the last several months, but I was posting on this board, I think before a lot of you guys showed up.

Good to see these boards coming alive.

Got some ideas for threads that you'll be seeing. Hopefully really soon. I just need to refine them a slight bit in my mind.

Hope to get to know you all as quickly as possible. Ask away if any of you have any questions regarding what issue something appeared in, or anything of that nature. I have (thanks to the Archives) just about every major Legion appearance.

Later

Beagle Boy bakes? I think I'm in LOVE!!! Cooookies! Must---have---cooookies! haha

And I cast my vote for Lard Lad for Leader!!

And Shady is the best candidate for morale officer. There isn't anyone she hasn't made smile at least once

And has anyone noticed the wildflower air fresheners I put in the Outpost bathrooms? If you close your eyes you'd swear you were poopin' in the woods!

Man, you take a weekend off for home improvements and can't get to the computer on Monday (parent conferences) and all of a sudden there's FOUR more pages? And I have a puny two posts?

I'd propose my wife's cats for membership in the L of MBP Pets, but their code names would have to be SuperBitchy and DumbAsAPileofTurds Cat. Not worth it. No, my sidekick would have to be my utterly adorable 15 month old son whose super power is to operate at warp speed until naptimes, when he immediately goes into a deep state of hibernation. Let's call him Little Lad. I'd have my wife, but she thinks I'm dorky and she's more of a Night Girl stay at home lass than a Shady go explore the universe type.

Hey, is anyone up for a game of holographic D&D? Darnit, Dreamy, quit breathin' in my ear, or I'll lose to Sun Boy again.

In these here LMB precincts I would henceforward prefer to be known, not as Greybird Boy, but as Grey Birdboy ... in honor of a truly cheesy Saturday morning animated show that was dear to my 8-year-old heart, back in 1967.

(What? None of you remember the valiant "Birdman and Galaxy Trio"? Not even when he rescued a kid from drowning, stuck metal wings on him, made him a sidekick? Not even when Birdman guested on "Space Ghost Coast to Coast"? Shame on you.)

My power? Super-vocabulary-richness that induces super-narcolepsy in readers.

My favorite air freshener, outhouse-keeper take note? African violets.

And nobody's told me yet what color Speedos go with my mottled wings and light-olive skin. I'm sorely bereft!

I finally did what I wrongly ragged on others for doing, at one time: ended up posting a message twice, out of this UBB system not responding immediately.

At least they're not identical. Please only recognize the improved version appearing immediately above.

Also, you should only count one such posting in the "standings" when this happens. I'd hate this to become the Legion of Msg Board Spammers.

And I forgot to say that I'll join others in that D&D dungeon. We'll all stand on ornately carved soapboxes and talk each other into oblivion!

Mmmm, I needed that nap. Thanks Grey Birdboy. Last thing I remember is hearing something about narcolepsy and then I was dreaming about being on a toilet in a forest, with Newcru shouting "Just two sheets because I'm not running to buy more rolls at this time of night."

I do have the ability to co-ordinate a shirt with the perfect tie. So I guess super fashion sense it is. If that's o.k., and you'll all have to take my word on it. I can also sew, so if you bust a seam I'll handle it. Wait a minute, I can also cook and clean. Oh My God! Super Donna Reed-ism, that works for me.

Newcru -- You should try the cinnamon rolls!! Homemade, of course! And the chocolate rolls. With cream cheese. The first time I took them to work, I got 3 and a half marriage proposals. One of these days, I gotta get that restaurant opened!!!

(Can you believe I can cook like that and am still single?)

Hey, this thing is getting close to 200 posts.

Just a few questions for those in the know, since I'm New (old) here:

Can Schnauzer Pup be allowed into the Team Mascots of the LMB? He's really crabby and cute at the same time. And he nods when you ask him if he knows that there is a baby coming.

Do I get to be the 25th member, or do I need to go through a trial period first?

Can anyone tell bellbookcandle why my name looks familiar?

Just curious.
