| THE FAMILY I believe that the Family unit is the cornerstone of civilized society. I will champion the cause of the Family with the aim of ensuring that public policy encourages the development of strong effective families with the rights of children, parents and grandparents enshrined into law. I believe that the Status of Fathers has been eroded to the lowest low of all times. I believe that Children of divorce have the right to love and be loved by BOTH Parents. I will work towards the goal of returning the "Stolen Fathers" to their children. I will work to create a Ministry for Men's Health issues and the Status of Fathers. I will work to ensure that the rights of children, parents and grandparents are always protected. It is unlikely that any reforms to the Family Court of Australia will be introduced in Western Australia. If we can't effectively reform the Family Court Act of WA, then I propose that we sign up to the relevant treaty with the federal government. |
