| EDUCATION I believe that a good education is the basis of our children's future. Our children need the complimentary positive influences and role modelling of our esteemed men and women educators. I was an active member of the John Curtin P&C when my oldest son was a student there, and now that my youngest son has started at CBC this year I will join that P&C and become involved there also, to be fully aware of the current problems and to be a part of the solution. I will also work to develop policy that attracts more Male teachers back into primary schools and create a better balance of male and female teachers. I believe that biological fathers are the most effective male mentors and will strive for inclusive policies which encourage parents (particularly fathers) to play a more active role in primary school activities. |
