What JWs do for fun

This is in response to some comments listed down the page further. It apears many people think all that we have is meetings and witnessing.

My family of 6 are active Jws, and we love life and have a lot of fun.

As a family we enjoy concerts, barbecues, parties, caravaning, bushwalking, TV, reading just to name a few. We have a table tennis table basket ball hoop slot cars set 3 computers that all get a lot of use from my kids as well as others in the congo.

We read the Bible together as a family almost every day. Sometimes things come up that can not be helped, and some time we get slack.

I enjoy making my own beer as do several in this congo.

Many Sunday afternoons many of the congo. including Elders, Minies and Pubs. get togther for a game of socer, Ausie Rules football, or cricket. Sometime even the girls will join in if they are not afraid of geting tossed around alittle.

When I had my health I used to go surfing as many a young one does now. I know of 2 COs that enjoy surfing.

We are not stiffled by meetings of witnessing. Our congo has an average meeting atendance of 90% (of active JWs. 130 active in congo.)as a congo we average around 12 hrs per month F.S.

As a group we have a balanced life still. This congo is considered concervative for the city. This city continues to gro in numbers. There are new congos being formed each year here.
