That's good advice!
I wish JWs would find something better (and more
historically-accurate) to do than complaining, caterwauling, and sulking against "Christendom,"
and something better to do than attempting to pull people out of their churches by means of
the fraudulent and utterly false claim that
the early Christian Church was once a collection of
JW-Doctrine Congregations which then "Fell Away"
from the fundamental JW doctrines they once allegedly held, but in reality NEVER held.
This next comment,

---QUITE true. I once "chose" to be a JW, also,
BUT,
had I known the historical facts, that early christianity NEVER held to the basic doctrinal interpretations held-to and promoted by
JWs,
and thus NEVER "fell away" from them (you CAN'T fall away from a set of beliefs you have NEVER HELD TO BEGIN WITH!), then I would never have "Chosen" to be a JW.
I did not KNOW the historical facts
precisely BECAUSE JWs fed
my PARENTS these fraudulent claims from the time I was a toddler, and thus I had the historical truth WITH-HELD from me, coupled with raised to believe that
THESE PEOPLE who PUBLISH those books & mags were beyond serious reproach and
would ***never*** make something up that wasn't true,
COUPLED ALSO WITH having it drummed into my head that to QUESTION these men's publications was tantamount to rebelling against God Himself.
So, yes, I "chose" to become a JW, but ONLY BECAUSE I was fed FALSE information, and told NOT to do ANY "independent thinking" on religious matters whatsoever.
