Apparently you've never been an elder. I'm going on an "intervention" for an recently ex-elder who is having trouble with drinking, again. his not being an elder had nothing to do with drinking, as that particular problem was so common in
that congregation as not to be noticed. That's just a drop in the ocean. I alone have a hundred tales. As I mentioned to Ben, Witnesses are no worse or better than most others, they just have a rather isolated perspective, and it takes
it's toll on them.
