What are selection tools?
Selection tools are tools used to select a part of an image to be transferred or edited.


Selecting The Quick Selection Tool
To select the Quick Selection Tool, click on its icon in Photoshop's Tools panel,
or press the letter W on your keyboard to select it with the shortcut:
The quick selection tools selects the part of the image inside an edge that it detects.
It is one of the most used Selection Tool.
Using the Magic Wand Tool
The purpose of magic wand tool is to select similarly
colored pixels in the whole image.
It is located on the same tool panel as Quick Selection Tools.
You'll just click on one pixel and it will select all other
pixels which has the same color like it.
Marquee Tools!
Inside the Marquee Tool
The rectangular marquee tool selects a part of an image
inside a rectangle that you personally draw.
Chooses the part of an image in a circular
or rectangular manner
Selects 10 pixels in a row.
Selects 10 pixels in one column
Using the lasso tools!
Lasso Tools:
It is a freehand selection tool used to
select a border around the image.
Used to select a part of an image with straight edges.
A lasso tool which automatically attaches to
the edges of an object inside the image.
You SHOULDN'T forget the MOVE TOOL!
It is used to Move the selected part of the image to
a new canvas or inside the image itself!
