MESSAGE FROM IT
DIRECTOR / WEBMASTER
Greetings!
Our club's official website was launched last year
October during the club anniversary and been operating until for 4 months since
then. Previously it only consisted some general Info, our club details, project
reports, messages from Leo presidents and KL Vision City lions, members
directory, calendar and links to other Leo & Lions clubs in the region.
However this new version of the club website not
only have all the existing contents, a brand new design and color scheme, as
well as much more web based interactive functionalities for the members and
visitors as below:
1) Each club member will be given a personal email address '[email protected]'
and can be logged in and sign up from the club website.
2) Search Engine for visitors to search for a particular info on our site.
3) Guestbook, Mini Poll, Message Forums & Online Chartroom to allow members and
visitors to interact, comment and exchange ideas via the website itself.
4) Newly improved Calendar with all updated upcoming projects and schedule.
5) Photo albums to include all the past projects photos and to be shared among
the members.
6) Site map to guide the visitors through the website.
By re-designing the website and added the new
features mentioned above, we aimed to create a full web based presentation of
all the information related to our club, as well as allow our members to
interact among each other via the website itself.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank President Leo Yee Kuan and IPP Leo
Lucy Loo for their guidance and my IT committee for their commitment to make
this new website a reality. Also would like to thank the Lions who have
contributed their messages on our site.
