Dot is one of the hardest working citizens in Mainframe. The running joke is that she owns the majority of Mainframe. She is constantly working on something, surrounded by charts, graphs, and vid-windows. She was captivated, enchanted by the Guardian when he arrived in Mainframe. But, like Bob, she wouldn't let down the barrier holding back her feelings.
Dot's life has been full of pain and tragedy. Her father, Welman Matrix, an imminent scientist, inadvertently destroyed the Twin City of Mainframe, 
where all the sprites resided, through an experimental portal device, also bring to Mainframe the sinister Megabyte and his insane sister Hexadecimal.
This left Dot and her young brother Enzo as the only sprites in Mainframe. This also brought the system its first Guardian, Bob.
For awhile, things were not all so bad. Dot's businesses flourished, Enzo grew, and she became close friends with Bob, all the while denying what she truly wanted of him. They managed to keep a handle on the viruses, until Mainframe was invaded by Web creatures. Bob struck a deal with Megabyte, but in the end the Guardian was betrayed and trapped in the Web. 
Dot's hope wavered and flickered, but did not fade, even as her heart ached.
She held her head high as she led the resistance against the traitorous Megabyte. When Enzo and AndrAIa were nullified in a game, and they lost the Principle Office, along with Phong, to Megabyte, Dot still held her head high, even as she lost the last of what she had called family. With only Mouse and the last of the resistance to aid her, Dot continued the battle, though it was a lost cause.
Towards the final days of the war against Megabyte, Dot gained back her family and friends, along with a copy of the original Enzo; a energetic young boy that contrasted sharply with the his older, brooding self. She promised herself she would not allow herself to lose Bob again. But the User aimed not to make things simple for her. After Daemon was defeated, another Bob appeared in Mainframe. This one was like she remembered, unscarred in mind and body.
But this Bob was not what he appeared to be. In truth, it was Megabyte in disguise, using shape-shifting abilities he gained during his stay in the Web. Yet since he looked like the Bob she knew from times before, Dot chose him as her husband. When it was revealed to Dot that she had chosen wrong, she was disgusted with herself, and questioned her own sanity. Even now, though the Bob that is with them now is the true one, Dot does not trust her eyes nor her own heart, and whether the two of them will ever be together remains to be seen.
