Political Study

The city hall is situated in Truchas, to 2 km. of La Cuesta. The city council is governed by a mayor helped in its functions of municipal government by 8 councilmen. The election of the mayor and councilmen for of democratic form. A series of candidates appears and the greater citizens of 18 years choose every 4 years in the municipal elections.

The council is formed by all the neighbors of the town; between the subjects that treat and on that they decide they are: the use of the community goods, administration of economic goods, reading of the municipal bands...
