Historic Study

La Cuesta: name due to its slope location until century XVIII comes more calling Quintanilla de Arriba or from the Hill, where the Roman administrator of the auriferous operations settled down his residence or villa. The primitive town was based to km of the existing today; in a called place San Bresme where today are roofing tiles, abundant dregs, ceramics, some Roman irons and channels reason why say that it was a Roman establishment. The people of Cuesta only could recover of this town a wheel of esquilones whom now they have placed in the church to touch to the Saints.
