1987 BOMB 96 mins.
I think the video cover says it all.
Robert Englund and Heather Langenkamp glare at us, as if to say, "Why are you about to watch this? Wouldn't you rather watch us in the first film?" The look on Patricia Arquette's face tells us exactly how bored we are going to be for the following 96 minutes. Meanwhile, Laurence Fishburne is the smart one, looking off into the days when he will be playing Morpheus in The Matrix. The image at the bottom is of Patricia Arquette walking into the house on Elm Street, and into a film that is so much of "we've seen this already" that it's not worth anything. Of course, how Patricia Arquette's shirt is slightly slid up over her sexy a** does remind us as to why we should watch this film. Yeah, Heather Langenkamp and Patricia Arquette are hot.
Here, I'll go ahead and spoil it for you. All you need to know from this film is this: Freddy's mother was locked in with a bunch of people in an insane asylum who raped her hundreds of times, thereby making Freddy the "Bastard son of a hundred maniacs." Wow! I just told you in one sentence what this film takes 96 minutes to dish out. What'd'ya know?!
