Considering this film had been in planning stages for nearly ten years (following the conclusion of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday), you'd think the creators could have come up with something a little bit better than this. While the idea of Freddy trying to come back to life and having to use Jason to do it was a great idea, and the battle between them is gruesome and awesome, the goofy, forced teen story that goes along with it is so unbearably dumb that it forces the film down to the level that most slasher films are typically categorized in. My advice: stay away.
