First of all, let me start off by saying that this isn't, really, a sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street. In this film, Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, Robert Englund, and Wes Craven play themselves. The Nightmare movies have ended, but Wes (the character) wants to make one more. In this one, though, Freddy is coming out of the movies and into the real world. What he is writing is pure fiction . . . or is it? The answer lies in an interesting psychological twist in which the lines between reality, fiction, and dreams are blurred. One word to describe this: awesome!
