After such a crappy installment as A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, this is a welcome return to the great stories of Freddy Krueger. Kristen is back (this time played by Tuesday Knight), and her ability to pull people into her dreams is still intact. Just before she is murdered by Freddy, though, she passes her gift to her friend Alice (Lisa Wilcox). Since Kristen is the last of the original Elm Street kids, Freddy now has to use the power in Alice to get to a new batch of kids. Thank you Renny Harlin for bringing Freddy back to us.
