A KNIGHT'S TALE

I must admit that this film is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact, I was going to give it three and a half stars until, literally, the very last minute. After the ending credits, there is a very tasteless scene that ruins the film. All in all, thought, this film is very well done, and it recreates a time in such a way that it is more believable than many big name historical films. Heath Ledger plays William Thatcher, who is a peasant who assumes the identity of a nobleman and takes on jousting.
Rated PG-13 for action violence, some nudity, and brief sex-related dialogue.
