This is a great sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street. In this intriguing, interesting chapter, a new family has moved into the house on Elm Street. The boy is haunted by dreams of Freddy, who wants to take over the boy's body in order to wreak mayhem upon a new crop of unsuspecting teens. There are many good moments in this, the best of which is the song used during the ending credits. This film gives a nice little twist to the series, instead of just copying the first film, like so many sequels do. If you liked the first one, you'll like A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge.
Rated R for violence, gore, and nudity.
