SWAMI RANGANATHANANDA
Swami Ranganathananda has identified the importance of Science subjects in education. He stressed that any civilization can develop only with technology. We need the theoretical aspects of several Physical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry Life sciences, Mathematics, Astronomy, Medicine, Surgery, Metallurgy, Linguistics and Grammar.
These various disciplines, starting from the beginning as study of separate fields tend, in their advanced stages, to over-step their particular boundaries and merge into one converging scientific search into the truth.
To Sum Up :
Philosophy is a discipline from which all the disciplines are developed. Hence, it is the mother of all disciplines in the world. Science adopts analytical method of study. Whereas Indian view of looks them in a synthetic way. So that Swami Ranganathananda stressed the importance of these disciplines in context of education.
