| Well, pierce is our primary so most of the weapons listed here will be pierce based, although, as anyone who has been playing a while will tell you, thats not necessarily the best. In my mind blunt seems best.i mean, lets be logical....if you use pierce and sharp on a troll you will break the weapon or damage it highly but if you use blunt on *anything* it will cause damage.....well, thats up to you, either way you have pierce and will be advancing pierce so lets stick to that and maybe i'll bung a couple of good blunt weapons at the bottom of the page..... For ease and lack of complication not all pierce weapons or infact assassiny weapons are listed, basically, if they are not listed then they are either crappy or i've forgotten. If the latter don't sit there all smug, tell me....i am frequently wrong so i won't mind :P STILETTOES These are most commonly associated with assassins, they are both simple to use and effective, infact when enchanted too they are probably the best weapons with which to gain TM's in the pierce category. Ideal for the newbie assassin right through to the highly skilled oldbies. Skills : fighting.combat.melee.pierce Location : Assassins guild shop Cost : $4.75 THIEF DAGGERS One of the all round favourites amoungst assassins. Despite these being 'theives' daggers i believe that probably as many if not more assassins use them than thief's. They are highly effective and best of all give you an extra dex point when held. Originally these were a quest item only and although they still are available as a quest item, they can now be bought in the thieves guild shop too. Only drawback to this weapon is that you need to advance sharp which is a non primary and can get expensive. Best advice is to advance sharp to guild max and then get your daggers enchanted so that you can TM to a higher sharp level. Skills : fighting.combat.melee.pierce & fighting.combat.melee.sharp Location : Quest & thiefs guild shop. cost : $350 each RED HANDLED DAGGERS Not bad for impale, always satisfying to see a nice kebab. I like these, they are pretty and make nice flames come out when you're fighting :) Of course, the fact that you have a flame grilled oponent is nice too. Someone pass me the Bar-B-Q sauce please? Skills : fighting.combat.melee.pierce & fighting.combat.melee.sharp Location : Temple of Sandelfon in AM Cost : $25.00 HOWONDALAND THROWING KNIVES Easy to use, cheap and effective. Despite the name they are very good in hand to hand fights, thier attacks are acceptable but at times can be completely absorbed by some armour. Not as good as T-Daggers. Despite of all that though, the name looks really cool when someone looks at you! Note : I know they are just sharp but Tassie used to use them so they are here in honour of him. ( He dumped them for something else though now apparently). Skills : fighting.combat.melee.sharp Location : KLK- Riverwalk. Thieves Guild NPC, Gadmere. Cost : DjToon 23.46 RUNE COVERED SICKLE This is my favourite weapon at the moment, though i do admit that im not usin one as my assassin character. The sickle comes equipped with its on ward - a powerful one at that - and also poison not unlike the ornate warhammer. It concentrates on both sharp and pierce and in my opinion is damned powerful. Unfortunately it is a quest item and so i can't tell you where to get it. hahahahaha i have one you don't! Skills : fighting.combat.melee.pierce & fighting.combat.melee.sharp Location : Quest Cost : N/A NO.5 THROWING KNIFE Only really used for inhuming but for its purpose its highly effective. If this dosnt perform the task to your needs then try the No.12 knife instead. Skills : fighting.combat.range.thrown Location : Assassins guild shop Cost : $7.62 NO.12 THROWING KNIFE As with the No.5 knife, highly effective. Not really a combat weapon though, Skills : fighting.combat.range.thrown Location : Assassins guild shop Cost : $7.80 BLUNT WORM SWORD Probably the most well known of all the blunt weapons. Whoever coded this had a real phallus obession. :) I won't go into details, but the things you have to do in order to gain this this quest item are highly dubious. :P And then once you get it you have to 'advance' the sword through kills in order to gain it's commands....Oh and those commands. :) Put it like this, for the final command - Earthworm - yuo stroke it and make it excited so it stands up all erect....Need i go on? Overall though this is a very fun and very effective weapon. Well worth the mind boggling quest to get. Skills : Blunt. Location : Quest. Cost : N/A LARGE WOODEN CLUBS Not to be mistaken for the Giant wooden clubs. These are excellent to TM with if you are trying to advance blunt. Get them enchanted by a nice passing witch and reap the benefits. As there easy to use, unlike thier conterpart, the giant ones, they can be employed by newbies to great affect. Worthwhile having just for the TM's alone. Skills : Blunt Location : Yeti's in the Ramtops (For younger players ask someone older to get them for you:) Cost : Sometimes you can find them in Gen stores and player shops. Prices are variable but not exceeding $25. WOODEN STAFF Alas, you used to be able to have two of these but it was changed to just one, more realistic yes, but I loved my staves. :( Quite effective with the TM's when enchanted, not as good as the clubs. However, a saving grace of the staff is that it has an excellent crush. Easy to use from newbies to oldbies and you can get a spell cast on it from the wizies that will make it fire lightening bolts into the ground and sparkle mystically - Um no actual point in doig this, it just looks pretty. Skills : Blunt Location : KLK from Ghot-khin-than. Player shops sometimes. Cost : From Ghot, free. Shops vary up to 1 Royal. |
