The project bike was a purchase I made on Ebay.  The bike was listed for $400 dollars; however, due to some description issues the sale price turned out to be much less; I was able to pick this one up for 150 bucks.

The bike is a 1975 CB750K.  As you can see from the above picture it was in very good condition to be 30 years old!  The first step I took was to remove the carbs and clean them. Next I drained the oil and filled it with new.  Finally I attached a new battery and fired her up.  It ran pretty ragged, but it did run well enough for me to give it a spin around the yard. 

Satisified with the bike's potential; I began the chop...
