Heading for Maymensingh

What is to worry! Ha ha ha – this time I’m heading for Maymensingh
Sitting on the roofs of the buses – or behind Rickshaws
All the way to the Baghmari residential area
I am but the pulses of laughter

With each pulse crossing the bridge
I am that stall for the evening meals
And that sudden glimpse from the working woman

I am but the smokes circling outside from the tea cup
In this darn evening of winter

All the red suburbs and dirts from the street that welcomes you with extended arms
And the river, where it is inebriated
In the beauty of the park

‘You don’t know how to love’ -

Wrapping the cloak around my body
I’ll keep on smiling in the most mischievous manner
