KAAKBAY is in the process of applying for accreditation with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Thereafter, we shall be lobbying for accreditation with the Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City as a non-government organizaton. This endeavor shall be replicated in the provincial governments all over Region XII.

Budget proposals are in the process of being completed and shall soon be submitted to funding agencies which could fund the organization's many activities for the year. Meanwhile, KAAKBAY is busy reinforcing its chapters and ad-hoc committees of chapters-to-be in anticipation of future activities and projects.
