In the quest for legitimizing KAAKBAY's identity, an application was sent to the National Youth Commission through the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) on January 27, 2003. In response, the NYC sent back a reply postal package on March 24, 2003 which included the certificate formally recognizing KAAKBAY-TPYD as a youth organization of the National Youth Commission through NRP Resolution No. 011, Series of 2003.
