We are thankful that the rebuilding and peace advocacy, as well as community development efforts in Mindanao among its inhabitants is spearheded by several other entities from other sectors of society (i.e. NGO's, women's sector, etc.). We are privileged to have become a part of their ranks. Comparatively speaking, we are young (in both sense of the word) in the peace-building endeavors in this island. However, the extent at which our cumulative push towards attaining sustainable peace has not even reached a fourth of the more than fifteen million inhabitants of Mindanao. Inter-sectoral ignorance and apathy, even prejudices, still exist for the most part. This fact is cause enough for us to be alert, since these negative perceptions could just as easily erupt into various forms of violence. In this, the spreading of a culture of peace and the education of all three sectors constituting the Tri-People in the way of life of their neighbors must be made utilizing all methods possible. These include the use of journalistic means to reach out to the masses. So, to those who wish their articles to be published in this website, please feel free to submit them through our e-mail address.
