In an effort to have some sort of preventive measure of protecting General Santos City from the violence and terrorism that was spreading all over Mindanao. The organization initiated a mass action, helped by the Youth Affairs and Development Office (CMO-YADO) and the General Services Office (GSO) of the General Santos City LGU, which saw the presence of Honorable City Councilor "Boyet" Leyson of the Peace Council, Prof. Leopoldo Lacson of the Notre Dame of Dadiangas College, Sister Andrea Solar of the the NDDC Peace Education Center, and Prof. Arnold Jose S. Aligaen, and Madame Alma Aguja, wife of Congressman Mario Aguja of Akbayan Party List.

       Large delegations from the Holy Cross Parish Social Action Group, the OLPGV Parish Social Action Group, the NDDC Peace Partners, and youth groups led by the SK Councils of Brgy Apopong, Brgy. Buayan, Brgy. Tambler, and Brgy. Calumpang converged at the RD Building parking lot fronting Shakey's Pizza Santiago and walked from Santiago Blvd. to the Freedom Park, via Acharon Blvd., Pioneer Ave., and Pendatun Ave. to reassure the people of the city that there are people and sectors in the city who are concerned and are ready to stand up defiantly and call on those involved to keep General Santos safe.
