In celebration of the first anniversary of Kaakbay Tri-People Youth Dialogue as a youth organization for peace, the First General Assembly and Peace Congress among its members was held last April 19-20, 2003 at the Maharlika Beach Session Hall, General Santos City. Representatives from all established chapters and ad-hoc chapters came and participated in the event. Guests were Ms. Teresa Jamero, Area Coordinator of GOP-UNMDP3 Area Coordinating Team for South Central Mindanao, Mr. Mark Kusain, Assistant Head of the CMO-YADO, and Mr. Elmer D. Cequi�a, Division Head of CMO-YADO.

       An accomplishment report was made by founding president Tommy Pangcoga. Simple awarding rites was also held to thank the GOP-UNMDP3 and the CMO-YADO for their pivotal support to the organization, as well as to give honor to the college and high school graduates and achievers of school year 2002-2003 from Kaakbay. An election was held, which saw the reelection of Mr. Tommy Pangcoga (president), Mr. Allan Remedios (secretary general), Ms. Jhanine Villegas (treasurer), and Mr. Floyd Dagum (PIO).
